I just evolved both Nidoran male & female.

I got Poison Jab + Earthquake on both.

Against which pokemon should I use them in gyms?

those pokemons are weak versus many common defenders ppl use

i would never use them for anything

Yes: Fairy, Poison, Electric, Bug, Rock, Fighting

No: Ice, Water, Ground, Psychic

They are okay Pokemon, but the types they're strong against don't tend to be the top grade Pokemon, which they tend to be weak against.

their moves suck and also their typing sucks, they weak vs ice, water and psychic.

all common gym defenders: vaps, slowbros, golducks, exeggutor, laprases

I would use them against Fairy, Poison and possibly Fire/Electric.

I would not use them vs Psychic, Ice and Water.

even if there is arcanine in the gym then vaporeon is good choice for attacker

I have a nidoking like this that I use against electric types I see in gyms. Since these are rare, it's not really worth powering up. I do enjoy using my earthquake nidoking on them when I do see them, though.

The other possibilities would be against a poison type Pokemon, if you have no better psychic types available for the job or a fairy if you have no better poison type available.
