Niantic support help with raidless gym

So there is this gym in my area which hasn’t had any raids for months. Its location is just like most other gyms in Singapore, so I think there is no reason for it not to have any raids. So I contacted Niantic support about the issue:

And was really surprised by the response! Now the only thing left is what the “action” is. I don’t want the gym to be moved away, but it’s still better than keeping it raidless, at least for me.

My house pokestop isn’t even in the same L14 cell.
Edit: It’s right at the border of two L14 cells, one of which is the same one as the raidless gym. I don’t know which cell the pokestop is in.

4 of the 5 park gyms within 5 miles of my office have not had a single raid in the last year. it's related to the park system suing Niantic about needing a permit for "planned" events.

You aren't from Milwaukee by chance are you? Because our parks department pulled the same thing within the first months of PoGo's release. Ironically they got counter-sued by a different AR game developer and ended up settling for a sizeable amount of change.

yup. Milwaukee.

the only park gym with raids near me was added in the last year, so after the suit happened.

Hah, small world. I'm pretty sure the suit is also why stops and gyms that were in parks at the time "close" after park hours. Apparently this is not common as I've only seen it happen in one city outside Milwaukee and stops/gyms closing was completely foreign to my fiancee the first time she visited after it was implemented.
