Despite Niantic’s statements about who is favoured by EX raids, the analysed data showed that gym badges did not aid players in achieving EX raids and having completed a larger number of raids disadvantaged players in achieving EX raids.
GET READY TO BE ARRESTED FOR FRAUD!!! YOU KNOW THAT WHEN YOU HAD RAIDED OVER HALF ALL OF THE ELIGIBLE GYMS IN THE SAME S2 CELL YOU CAN'T GET A SINGLE EX RAID PASS YOU KNOW SOMETHING IS HORRIBLY WRONG. ARREST JOHN HANKE FOR FRAUD, ONCE AND FOR ALL.

I believe Niantic cancelled all the Christmas Day EX raids that were going to be held at Starbucks/Sprint gyms since the stores were closed. EX raids at park gyms that day still went ahead as scheduled. As far as I know, Niantic didn't reach out in any way to let players know about the cancellations, and instead just revoked those EX passes and replaced them with a couple premium raid passes and (I think) a sprinkling of stardust.
Aside from the lack of any explanation and inadequate compensation, I think the worst part about them cancelling those EX raids was that it totally ruined people's day who scheduled time (on Christmas Day, no less) in order to do that raid. In many cases, people did a lot of rescheduling in order to work in the raid that day. Then Niantic goes and sweeps the rug out from under them. You have my condolences for being cheated out of that raid.

Not this time either. Still waiting for my first, as are a lot of dedicated trainers. I’m almost level 39 and have raided pretty much every day since the first raids started.
But I still have fun with the game, and have plenty of goals that I set for myself to keep it fun (it is a game after all).
The only thing that I’m sick of is hearing everyone who whines on a regular basis about how they didn’t get one. It’s kinda ruining this forum... especially the ALL CAP rants. Sheesh.
