The new update

I was on version 57.4 Android if I remember correctly , then yesterday I got a message forcing me to update , when I update it gave me version 59.1 and it sign in once every 10 tries and it is driving me crazy , the current version is 61 or so but not yet in my play store , any one with similar experience and should i go and download the apk instead ?

some trainer in my country from pokemon go FB group get the same prob, and yeah download the Apk...he said still cannot login after update to 0.59.1 so better download the 0.61

Try an uninstall and reinstall from the store. Mine was borked on my Android device after the update and the reinstall appears to have fixed the sign on issue for me.
