but it's not possible to temporarily switch back to the old one, right?
because if i'm surrounded by 12 rattatas (story of my life) and the 13th pokemon is a Snorlax, i will never be aware of it, as i see only 9 pokemon.
Whereas with the old one, it would show just one rattata, and then Snorlax in second place
Is it possible to deal with this problem?
Great job? Really? They tested this POS for months in an area with Pokestops every 50 feet and decided it was good enough for people in rural and suburban settings. That's not a "great job." That's the opposite of a great job. That "great job" is identifying 9 crap Pokemon at places I ain't going to. Pokemon spawn in my neighborhood far away from Pokestops, and now I have no clue what's out there. But I do know Rattatas are at each of the four stops they think are closest to me. Heck, the Pokestop right down the road from me hasn't registered a find since this experiment began. This is a fail for the ages.

Seriously, i was totally fed up with the old one!! I've been circling around a pokemon in sightings and never got the idea if i was getting closer or further!! So, ultimately they just disappear...
They could improve this one but is so nice to "have a clue" where to go!!
