New Shiny in trade- does it give both dex entries

I am trading for a Shiny Lugia, I don't have Lugia at all. Will I get both dex entries. Of course Ill get Shiny Lugia Dex entry, but will I also get regular Lugia entry?

Only the shiny entry I think. But I hope you know that it'll cost like 80000 stardust.

I didn't remember correctly. But at best friends level, trading an unregistered shiny is 40,000 stardust.

I‘m pretty sure you‘ll get both dex entries. I did something similar with Medicham and Pelipper where I first evolved those when I had at least 2 shinys each of their preevos, and still got both entries (non-shiny and shiny)

I'll confirm this. The only shiny I had of the sinnoh stone evolutions was a duskull and I checked just now and the regular entry for dusknoir is there
