Why are you feeding your own mon berries?

A sub 3000CP mon will last in a gym over 6 hours with no berries. If it gets knocked out after that, you get 50 coin and can theoretically put another mon in for another 50 tomorrow.

Snorlax Blassey Dragonite have better chances getting feed because people expecting candies out of those mons during feeding, but I got none!

No big deal. As long as your mon isn't the first in, then all the other mon that were there ahead of yours still need to be fought at least once before you get booted.
Besides, if your mon has lost all of its motivation by just not being fed, then it is probably time for it to come home with coins anyways.

Quite honestly, I belive that you should only be allowed to feed your own mon, not all of them. It would give a way to allow a Trainer to keep their own mon in if they wanted to, but not allow other people to 'trap' your mon in.
I have a small dragon in a gym since the gyms went live a week ago. I have totally ignored it, and this morning it was at full health. Total waste in my opinion. But, because some stranger can get credit for feeding him berries, I can't get him back!

I don't think I've seen seen a gym attacked and not taken down since the rework - so who really cares?.

As a rule, I want a gym to look like it would be somewhat annoying to take down for a few hours and then look easy. I don't care much what my poke looks like.
