New event, same old Niantic
Bugs galore.
-A "special event" where you could teach Mewtwo sb for half an hour. Wtf? That really bugs me (pun) I wasnt on the game at the time, i don't sit on it 12 hours a day. This is amateurish on Niantics part.
-A month of Giratina, a useless Pokemon thanks to shadow sneak. Another month of me not giving any money to Niantic cos it's only worth using free passes on.
-Apply the nerf to Giratina sometime after releasing it, annoying players who got excited when they caught 3000+ cp Giratinas.
-What's up with those tasks? Only sableye from there interests me.
The increase in dark spawns is cool, but overall this is lacklusture, and those bugs show niantic at their worst.
IMO giratina (with shadow ball) should have been released for a week as it's Halloween. Then gone back to releasing shiny legendaries (rayquaza??) We don't need a month of a gen 4 legendary when they're barely released any gen 4 pokemon.

Sloppily made event. It is a well known fact that this event is a garbage pos, i would had been had more fun stabbing 108 dogs than playing this event or even reading about it.
P.S. i'm running out of balls berries and pokestops drop only red balls, pinaps and nanabs, all of them which ensure an instant flee against high level pokemon.
For a long time it's been this way, every new legendary is out for a month. You should be used to this trend by now. Halloween event is also a veteran of PoGo events.
They are making a lot of mistakes in terms of introducing bugs since gen 4 rebalance started. I wonder if they fired the only guy who knew what he/she was doing.
I am used to it. I had little interest in Legendaries during the Regi era, preferring to catch Pokemon in the wild, the traditional way. If Niantic release a weak legendary for a month i'm not going to have much interest raiding it, but that's just me.
They've has loads of time to plan for gen 4, no excuses really.
Legendaries with little meta relevance lower our interest, that's a fact. However it's a great opportunity to try other raid tiers or to take it easy for a while, after a intense Mewtwo grinding. I always tend to play at my own pace, no matter how relevant is the pokemon out there. No pressure, enjoy yourself.
The Mewtwo thing wasn't an event, it was a bug. What baffles me is that they whip up hotfixes to beneficial bugs as soon as they're exposed yet anything slightly detrimental takes time. How long has the Hidden Power visual glitch been around? How long did it take them to fix the berry'd-mon crash your game bug to be fixed?
The Giratina thing was a matter of implementing the wrong stats - not only did they not nerf it right away, they gave it Giratina-O's stats. This is almost less a bug and more a serious indicator of a lack of quality control before new Pokemon are released.
