Network Error after Network Errors

Screw you Niantic. Fix your god damn game! I wasn't doing anything wrong while battling, then all of a sudden Network Error and the battle freezes. After quitting the gym battle it's network error everywhere. Can't spin stops, can't catch Pokémon. Wherever I touch, Network Error!
Clearly, restating the app doesn't solve sh*t.
Why can't you handle sth so basic????

And then when error briefly clears enough that I can try to heal the pokemon I was fighting with, I can see that even though I was unable to do anything, my pokemon kept taking damage. If a fight screws up because problems on their end, HP should reset to where it was before the fight.

Edit: It errors out after each pokemon I beat, but it appears as though it thinks I am still in the fight. I try to start fighting again, it sees that I an already in, and gives another error. Somebody else tries to fight, time is already half gone and my pokemon when I first errored out is still there. I can start again after the time is over on the errored out fight. ... or not.
Edit: It helps, but doesn't completely solve it, to leave after each fight.

Thanks for your sharing of your observations. So far at least some ways to deal with them.

I had errors yesterday too, after a gym battle.
Restarted the app a couple of times and then was able to take down the gym.
...
Had one also when entering the fight of a raid (first time). Restarted app 2 times happened the same.
Restarted phone and disintalled last app (brave browser), was able to fight the raid normally.
(Thanks to my froends who waited for me!)

Yup, that is one issue that Niantic really has to prioritise.

And then move on to every other bug that is in the game. Because even without the "Network error" or just "error" there are times when I spin a Pokestop and it wont work. Sometimes I get the "Try again" message that you get when you are moving too fast, but at those moments I might be standing still.

I've been fortunate not to suffer the "Network Error" many times so far. I did however get it yesterday, but only at one gym. I could fight every other gym in the area and spin Pokestops and catch Pokemon, but when trying to take that particular gym I got hit with "Network error" after one fight.

I could have done one fight at the time and perhaps beaten the gym eventually, but as it was pouring down rain (it was like standing in a water fall) and there was thunder and lightning in the sky, I really didn't want to stay there ;)

Lol. You really think new flagship phones don't suffer from the "network error" bug? Just wait for it to catch you soon. ;)

I have a S8 and experienced similar network issues yesterday. Couldn't take down a god damn gym with only 1 Pokemon in it.
