So what did Santa bring for you guys? What changes have you realized in your area? (please also add if rural/urban/suburban player)
UPDATE: just caught snorlax 44% 2284 zh/hyp and two dratini 49% and 76% just a few feet apart from each other!
For me it looks like this:
Spawns in my home area(suburban/urban) have not increased and monsters have not changed either. I only had a lot of plants around before and they just spawn as usal.
For the other areas I frequent(suburban/rural) I also could not find any changes.
The only thing I realized recently is an increase in evolved monster spawns, but nothing noteworthy. could be my imagination.
Was Japan totaly left out??
Hopefully, there will be no snow-event with a spam of lapras. Cloyster, Seal and Rossana woud be ok, but hopefully no lapras. I really do not enjoy defeating them in gym-battle. I have got no lapras yet, and they are seldom seen here - hopefully, this state remains as it is.

Downvoted 3 times, no real explaining comments - seems as everybody would like to have some lapras not really thinking about how static gym-gameplay would become with many lapras defending.
I don't think there has been an increase to the percentage that rare pokemon spawn. But there has been an increase in nests and spawn points since Halloween so I think that is why people are seeing more pokemon.
Snorlax, Dratini and all the other rares are still extremely rare here. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
