Name that biome

After seeing the thread "trying to figure out my biome," I realized I don't really know what to call my own biome, and probably other people also have this issue. Anyone can post a description of their biome here to get help in figuring out what kind it is.

I've been calling my biome grass/river, but I'm not sure if this is right. When I mention pokemon that I see, I mean from a catchable distance. What would you call my biome?
Seen daily: hoppip, horsea, shellder, krabby, marill, wooper
Seen every few days: swinub, oddish, bellsprout
Seen weekly: sunkern, teddiursa
Seen occasionally: Chikorita, squirtle during gen 1
Almost never: magikarp, psyduck, or other typical water biome spawns

I dont know what biome you're in it sounds like a big mix I only get lame pokemon with unusable stats and cp:Pidgey,Rattata,Sentret,Snubull,Spinerak,Paras,Sunkern,Slugma,Murkrow. Now some of the better ones are Houdour,Teddiursa, Geodude ,Rhydon,Sandshrew,Growlithe, Cyndiquil,Charmander. The problem is that those are the common and semi common and that is about all I see well and eevee.

Sounds like you're in a desert biome, since you see a lot of fire and rock types. I enjoy traveling to those since we don't see many of a lot of those types here. Rhyhorn is still useful there. We almost never see those here. Desert biomes also seem to have more machops and exeggcutes than other biomes.

Edit: Desert biomes are supposed to be the larvitar biome, so hopefully you've been able to find some of those.

Interesting.

I would say that I am in a similar biome as you. I get the ones you mention (apart from perhaps Chikorita, though I've seen a few).

But I also get lots of Nidorans, some Magikaps every now and then, quite a few Goldeen and Psyduck. Some Venonat as well and I see several Jynx every day.
Murkrow and Sneasel also spawn at my house every day.

I get quite a few nidorans, venonats, and murkrows also, but I think maybe everyone does. Chikorita is rare, so you may get as many as me. I don't see many magikarp, goldeen, jynx, or psyduck. Sneasel maybe every other week. I'm not sure what to call your biome, either.

Biomes overlap and are not discrete - it's really hard to find two identical ones. For instance you sound like you're in a grass/river biome but that doesn't mean that other grass/river biomes won't spawn different things. Personally I'm in a dry biome - I don't want to call it "desert" because we don't have as many Rhyhorn/Geodude as, say, Southern California, but Paras, Snubbull, Ekans, and Growlithe are all extremely common.

I agree that your biome sounds like water/grass.
I call my biome "desert biome"; what I see most are: ekans, sandshrew, geodude and rhyhorn.
Starters: I saw a lot of charmanders while very few squirtles. Since Gen 2 was released I see a lot of cyndaquil and very few totodiles ( I only caught a lot of these because of the water event) or chikoritas.
Rare: magikarp, seel, shellder, slowpoke.
Very rare: dratini (only 14 seen/caught)

It may help to share a bit about the climate/landscape where you live (for example, Singapore is an urbanised tropical island).
