My thoughts on ways to improve team gym battling

I am Instinct and live in an area with roughly 15-20 gyms which were all yellow, I noticed today Mystic came through and within 1 hour 8 gyms were flipped to level 10. I have no idea if it was legit players or spoofers who saw all the yellow gyms on a map many use that covers my area. It would be nice if within the gym of your team you can "chat or communicate" right now there is no easy way to find a group to battle gyms with. I would love to find people and have asked in local FB groups but can't get responses. What would be your recommendations for the game to allow players to collaborate as we all know Niantic wants it to be played in groups and not solo.

We spend time playing PG, not on FB, LOL! (I personally hate FB, but that's just me.)

I think eventually the local players will meet each other, especially since there is only one good park with 10 pokestops and 6 nearby gyms. You can see them parked near the gyms or sitting on benches tapping on their phones (don't think there are many spoofers), but I'm somewhat concerned that a player on a rival team might have a problem if I attack "their" gym and therefore try to be discreet... which does not promote meeting other players.

Maybe the incentive needs to come from Niantic. I read that multi-player cooperation may be required to catch legendaries... so maybe Niantic will figure it out. (Yeah, right).

I've only met two other players so far. I can spot someone playing pokemon, especially true for gyming. I've unfortunately yet to meet someone on the same team though. There's no motivation making friends with people I can't soup up gyms with.

I think a local chat would also be helpful for Communicating about nearby Pokémon!
