My request to Niantic for Gen 4
My Dear Niantic,
At first take my love. Hope you are well. I have experienced you do a great job ignoring all fans. Congratulations! Though this may never be granted, I want to make a request just for my own pleasure. DON'T NERF ARCEUS. As you know, Arceus is the master of all Pokémon in the universe, I believe many fans will hate to see it get the 9-antic nerf. I know you don't listen to anyone, but at least have mercy on the master.

Arceus is projected to get 262 base attack if not nerfed and without abilities it'll be a normal type. That's on the level of Espeon and Gengar, but crucially, Arceus would either lack STAB or SE, which means in most situations it wouldn't be able to compete for top DPS. It'd be quite tanky (a bit tankier than Snorlax for reference), so it might make a fine tank counter against something it gets a double SE moveset against or a tanky gym generalist with normal type moves.
To me none of that sounds like there's any potential to break the meta. A normal type would need to have a huge attack stat to make any waves as an attacker.
To me, this sounds like an emotional request rather than a logical one. But I totally agree that Arceus should not be nerfed. The meta already has no balance at all. And Arceus wouldn't hurt at all. It'll be like a Blissey with a lot of bulk sacrificed for DPS. And besides, Normal types aren't the most relevant attackers. And as an emotional reply, I think Arceus doesn't deserve to be nerfed.
