My best legendary raid
I usually play in a big city with experienced players but today saw a legendary raid in a small town nearby. Took over the gym with two minutes left, and only noticed “grandma” by the gym. Now we get company by 3 boys and a mother+daughter (“the bunch”). Turns out grandma is lvl 40, I am 38 and “the bunch” is 21-24. “The bunch” has great problem finding the correct lobby (sic!), identifying if they’re in a lobby waiting or actually fighting (sic!!), but with some help we’re off. Auto select on “the bunch”, I had 1 lvl 30 Moltres, 1 lvl 30 Entei and 4 lvl 36 Machamps, grandma a bit stronger since she fainted a while after me. Clear instructions to the bunch: No dodging, only tap on the circle.
Boss taken down with 2 sec left, 14 balls for me and an easy catch. So much more rewarding than fighting a legendary on the way walking to the next raid, not really caring if you catch it or not.

My luckiest one is recently i found 5 another trainer in my area, finally after 2 years
They are in level 21-29, one is lv 35 but retired in early 2017 before play again.
Found them when they failed in absol raid. Told them i will help if we meet again, and they invite me in their WA group (6 members now)
Since then they open dex Absol, Houndoom, Tyranitar, and Registeel, me and an my 2nd acc pretty much carry them in raids.
I am glad i always prepare my team eventhough when i go to my weekend raid group, i pretty much dont need it since there are a lot of trainers there
Though one is Registeel since they still dont have even a decent counter for it, i traded some of my machamp to some of them so we win it at 2nd try..
Don't worry, if they would have failed the raid, Grandma would have wooped them into DOING MACHAMPS RAIDS WHEN I TOLD YOU SO YOU LITTLE TWERPS... (silence for a moment)

And then... next time you meet. they got 6 lvl 30 machamps each to beat the gym...
