Muking Around

So back when Muk was a raid boss, I did them relentlessly because I think Muk is super cool (if not super relevant) and I wanted to max one out.

Now that I have enough candy to put a plump Muk wherever I want to, I can't decide whether to make a defender (with I/DP) or an attacker (PJ/GS). I have good versions of each.

Yes, I know that neither defenders nor Poison attackers make a particularly good investment right now, but this is a matter of personal fun (though I would like to crunch some variables before using all my candy; it's not easy to come by).

Right now I'm leaning toward the PJ/GS one, because while it might not annoy Psychic attackers as much in gyms, I will also be able to dual-use it as an attacker. The I/DP one is really suited for only one thing.

Thoughts?

I have 2 2400 cp plus Muks, one I used as an attacker, the other a defender.

For me, defense is pointless, and him being a raid boss certainly ruined the cool factor (mine were at these cps before raids.) I wouldn't invest in a defender.

However, on offense, Muk is very solid as a generalist attacker. He is extremely bulky, even against zh Snorlax and Blissey. I usually used him against both of them and as my clean up against Blissey if I needed it. He does neutral damage to most defenders. I would invest here. You then have very viable Pokemon you can have fun with.
