Moveset of Kingdra

just remember that kingdra would be taking 1.25 from dragon and dragonite would resist HP.

DB + Outrage is your best bet. Dragon moves get STAB plus type advantage which is equivalent to double type advantage (Ice), so you just want the most damaging move -- which is Outrage.

Also, double dragon moves are the best against water types, which Kingdra has double resistance against.

The best moveset for Kingdra is Dragon Breath/Outrage.

Comparing charge moves against dragon/flying Dragonite:

Hydro Pump
STAB x1.25, dragon x0.8
Outrage
STAB x1.25, dragon x1.25
Blizzard
dragon x1.25, flying x1.25

Outrage and Blizzard have the same multipliers, and Outrage is more energy efficient with its damage.

You want dragon/dragon. HP is ok but Gyarados and Vaporeon do it better.

I agree the double dragon one is the best. If nothing else, it is much cooler than having another water mon.

That being said, the dragon type gives her an advantage over other water mons because she's double resistant to fire and water, so one with water attacks is still useful (similar to Omastar).
