More evolved versions?

Have you guys been noticing that evolved versions of Pokemon are much more common? I got Breloom, Hariyama, and Delcatty before their stage 1 evolutions.

As a genwunner, I caught a Delcatty and did not realise it was a stage-two evolution!

I've caught all of those wild as well as grovyle, nuzleaf, linoone, and mightyena. The only evolved form to enter my dex through evolution is Sceptile and Shiftry.

For me the evolved forms are much rarer. I barely found a Delcatty and a Mightyena in my kitchen, and there was a Hariyama at a bank but that was too far.
