Same team that duoed the Tyranitar earlier...With SE double damage and resistance to Fire, Golem is best counter of course...

A lot of the Golems they have aren't maxed, but their swap out with a new team was only 7 seconds...so I can see more people doing this assuming little/no lag...

Their 2nd team had 1 or 2 top Golems (2800+CP) as well...

Nice! I wish my phone started raids on the starting second haha, If only. Finally, some evidence to shut up some of the players I see at local raids that have the mentality "we should wait for more players because we need them to take down the legendaries"

Not everyone is level 40 with 6 powered up Golems.

Obviously. But at the same time, more than 10 players would be overkill.

Not everyone uses type advantages either, which is what I was referring to.

Noticed that too. Might be something related to Boss's charge move frequency during mid fight.
Maybe this was not the first try and they played with Golem order.

He has 6 maxed golems, I think it would have been even easier if he sends the 6 maxed golem as the first team, then max revive 3 of them and use the revived as the 2nd team

Golem is a good choice.however actually the best counter is Omastar. Double resistance to fire and double effectiveness. That said even fewer people will have six invested Omastars available due to the fact that the desired moveset is legacy.

Perhaps someone should give Corsola a shot. However she doesn't have a quick rock move. (Sarcasm)

I don't know when it happened exactly, but I think rock throw on omastar was made legacy during the first or second moveset changes, so it was probably available for maybe 2 or 3 months. At that time omanytes were very rare, so it is very unlikely anyone has a rock throw omastar.

I think it's more like 1 or 2 weeks only...Maybe someone else who played back then can confirm...

You can also use Marcargo who has double rock and double resists fire...too bad his Att is so low and his HP is bad too.
