The mistake of dragonite in pogo

Maybe i am wrong but if i use dragonite against electric pokemon i get the message not very effective. But dragonite is flying/dragon and because of his dragon type the damage is neutral. Even in the normal pokemon games it is neutral??

It's a rendering error, because of the rounding in the game a dual typing that cancels a weakness deals 99.96% or something of the full damage, which for all purposes equates to dealing 100% of the damage.

You are effectively doing normal damage to Dragonite using Electric (same thing goes with other types that 'cancel each other' such as rock vs heracross (bug fighting), steel vs water/ice etc.)

Weakness is damage x 1.4

Resistance should be damage / 1.4, which would allow weakness and resistance to cancel out. But it is instead rounded to damage x .714, so weakness and resistance is damage x 1.4 x .714 = damage x .9996 and the game sees this as being less than neutral damage.

I think it tries to say 'super effective!' and 'not very effemxtive' at the same time, and the nve message covers up the se message, the same way the effectiveness msg's don't let you know when cinematic move coming.

Dude you might be using steel wing. Steel moves are not effective against electric types
