GamePress

I've seen this term several times here, but never quite understood what it means.
Can anyone tell me what it means, and an example of it in PoGo?

Its a classic rpg term for stat distribution for example, does not fit into PoGo in my opinion. If someone uses it on PoGo, I would call it optimization. Only focusing on best possible attackers and defenders with best possible moves and great iv's.

Gamepress has the tier lists. If i min-maxed my attacking team, it would mean focusing on relevant raid attackers (Tyra, Golem, Machamp etc). Maximum efficiency from using stardust.
Edit: Buffing a 95iv Tyra with Bite/Stone Edge would be min-maxing in my opinion, but buffing a 70iv one is not.

Usually a term i hear in games with stat allocation, ie: when you level up you put all points into the appropriate stat and completely neglect all unnecessary stats for the entirety of the playthrough so nothing is wasted.

I suppose in pogo it is not wasting dust as the above poster said.
