Can you still see "far away" raids in the vicinity of your map if you have a Pokémon defending that gym? If so, is Niantic going to diasable this feature anytime soon? I have a good idea about placing scouts around my city, so I can access more raids.

Btw, that title has nothing to do with the question. But I got your attention, so thank you for reading.

If there is a raid at a gym that you are defending, when you view the Pokemon and then press "go to gym", you won't be able to view that gym, and you'll get a message along the lines of "there is a raid currently in progress", but you won't be able to tell what the raid boss is if it's off your screen.

It used to be that you could see that gym, physically on your map, in the vicinity. I guess I should've further clarified. Does that feature still exist?

If you 'go to gym'. and there is a raid at the gym, then it will show up on your nearby raids. (as long as it isn't full, but I never have that problem)

I THINK YOU'RE DEAD WRONG AND I HAVE TO QUESTION YOUR INTELLIGENCE

I don't actually think that, but at least I got your attention ;)

I find that if they are just beyond my normal viewing distance, I can now see those bosses on my screen. If they are really far away it will show up in my raids list if I had clicked on the gym. But they could be 20 miles away
