Mew with Pound
Hey gang!
So I was TMing my Mew and stopped on the following move-set: Pound/Psyshock. Initially I thought it’s rather good, considering Mew has no stab fast move, but then I see Pound nowhere in the ranking... why is this? I thought Pound was a really good move. Great DPS and EPS. Let me know what you think, thanks!

Pound is a really good move and it's the one I chose for gym work. It's never Super Effective but it isn't resisted by the major gym defenders the way Shadow Claw is, actually reliably gets weather boosted (fog and wind are rare here), and it is superior to Dragon Tail if dodging is important to you, as it is with me.
Raids are a different story, but I don't consider Mew a good raiding candidate.
In the new DPS*TDO guide, if you filter by Mew you'll see it topping the chart because it's an awesome move by itself. However, using Mew with Pound means it will be a generalist with neutral damage at best (or NVE if there are ghosts, rock or steel in the gyms), which I'm not sure it's the desired role once big dragons exist. I personally prefer to use it as a niche attacker and leave the gyms to my Machamp, Dragonite and Raikou gang.
Well, not that I'm there with the TM draught I'm suffering at the moment, but I'm very happy with it being usable with Steel Wing / Solar Beam. That's relatively good damage for most gym defenders anyway and mostly SE for current Tier 3 (Onix, Omastar and Kabutops). Note that for the latter, Pound is NVE too.
