Is megahorn good on rhydon?
Gamepress' latest article mentioned that rhydon isn't a strong defender anymore. But with grass types buffed, is megahorn a strong defensive move for rhydon?

The only thing that's good about Rhydon as a Defender is the high CP - just make sure it's about 2950 max. Then it doesn't matter in the least what the moves are because what you're trying to do is to make a gym look like it's too much work to beat for a player who is looking for an easy fight - you want to scare away the "casuals" (like me) so we aren't taking down your gym in the first 8 hours of you holding it.
Really, the only "Good" defenders now are Blissey and Snorlax, and only because they can be sort of a pain to take down if you're like me, and have the worst possible luck when it comes to Machamps (Seriously, first two I walked 300km for and both came up with STONE EDGE? WTF?). And even they can be BAD defenders because they scare away casuals like me - I can't take down a Blissey that's CP 2500 or more without a hell of a lot of effort (mixing in things like Poliwraths, Hypno's, Gengars, even a Marowak or two, all of which I've got with Fighting moves), so if I see a gym with a Blissey, I generally walk on. So that player isn't going to collect any coins from that Pokémon that day from me.
I'd still use Rhydons on Defense, but that's when I want to make it a challenge for players - I'm not trying to scare them off, I'm trying to lure them in. I want them to come attack my Rhydon, and I want that Rhydon defeated. But I also want to make sure that I get the most coins possible, so if it takes them 10 min to beat my Rhydon entirely, that's 1 extra coin for me. That's my thinking when tossing any Pokémon on a gym now - will this Pokémon lure an opposing player to come take my gym too quickly and I won't get the max coins? Or will this scare too many away and it will be stuck there for a week? The moves never come to mind for me, at all.
