maxed out Blissey 1 vs 1

We have a guy in town who has an 3219 blissey with Zen Headbutt and Dazzling Gleam. Its the first mon which i cant kill in 1 vs 1. Best result is with my 2644 machamp with Karate Chop and Cross Chop ( lvl 34,5 and 96% ivs, but only 14 on atk). But if i dodge everthing he survives but get outimed. While only dodging charge moves, blissey kills me. Do you think with a new lvl up i can kill this beast ? or maybe a machamp with a new moveset ?

What were you fighting with? Bullet punch stone edge?

First, I would say use the gym simulator to see what CP/level would beat that blissey.

Second, you may need to go all-out attacking with your machamp, do as much damage as possible before he dies, then go in with a second mon.

Machamp with Counter / (DP, CC) would yield better results. Same with a Dragonite or Tyranitar if you have any of those. B / Cr. or B / SE on Tyranitar. Dragonite with DB / DC or DP if later gen DT / O or H. Those should be the best duelists on a Blissey.

If you lack those options then look for highest attack stats on your team and see which have optimal movesets you can power up to fight it. You just need to deal tons of damage with potentially more than one or two suicide fighters.

Surprisingly machamp with your moves (KC/Cross Chop) is already #21 on the list, which is already quite good. You'll have to look above that to see what else you can use.

thx for the info didnt thought the legacy moveset was this bad. may giving my psycho cut focus blast alakazam some power ups

Not exactly 'bad', but there exist better options :)

If you notice, most of these are new movesets anyway, so the old ones just got worse in relative terms, and not in absolute terms.

I caught an Alakazam with Confusion / Focus Blast which takes out Blisseys. Focus Blast is super-effective, but you have to dodge Dazzing Gleam or it will get taken out quick.

Today I swear I had 10 seconds left in a battle with a 3047 CP Blissey, and "time's up"! What a rip-off I had 10 seconds left. What's up with that?

I had to power up a pokemon just to deal with a Blissey around here. I went with an ES/SoB Eggy. IMO nothing comes close because he is pretty bulky and resists the zen headbutts. Machamp is hit SE by zen headbutt AND dazzling gleam, while Dragonite is also hit SE by dazzling gleam.

You will see Machamp is actually the best option, with the right moveset...with your moveset, it barely makes the list...
