You will be disappointed if you decide to power up this Snorlax as a defender. Pinsir with Rock Smash/Vice Grip is the only defender I'd spend stardust on at this point.

Snorlax is not rlly defender, but it is perfect pokemon for smuggling.
You can put much stuff in its arse and cross the border without notice.

by the way, how much CP is your Snorlax? Why you want to power up Snorlax of weaker IV or attacks? Is it because the CP of the weaker one is MUCH higher than your 100% IV Snorlax?

Weaker attack or even better worse iv will make it better because it will sit at the bottom of the gym and will defend the mighty Gya and Rhydons.
And you should prefer Lick because is shorter and harder to dodge than ZH; and also Earthquake or Hyper beam, didn't you notice the difference in damage between those and poor Body Slam? Niantic was merciful and replace this weak, bad sorry ass move set.

P.S. Lucky enough to have 3 Snorlax, but all 3 EQ, all 3. One at least has ZH. Two are pre gen 2.

Actually, the original poster should take advantage of the 15/15/15 bug - if you give professor Willow a 15/15/15 mon, he gives you 200 candies instead of one.
But this bug only works if you post a question about the mon here first, so don't anyone else try it, just the original poster.
