Max out Lugia?!?

Got a 96% IV Lugia with the best moves... Use rare candies and max out?

Current Lugia Candy: 102 (most from rare candies)

Current rare candies: 225

Thoughts? I know Lugia doesn't have the best attack stat but kinda wanna do it just to do it. I'm a level 39 so could theoretically hit the max CP

Go for it if u want. Won't be of much help in raids but he could be decent in PvP and just fun to use.

Unfortunately Lugia doesn't have the greatest attack stats. I wouldn't max him out. Keep saying your dust for moltres or specifically Zapdos like I am

Lugia doesn't hit very hard.

I got 98% with the same moves and I'm over the moon!! I powered it up to level 30 and its a beast at 3120CP. Very satisfying to see it go up by 51 CP every time!
Look, part of the game is pure fun, and it certainly was fun for me to push my Lugia into my top 10 for relatively low cost. It's a point of pride.
For now though, I'm not going to max it out in the hopes that 20 people magically materialize and help me catch other legendaries...

No. Not enough attack stat to be good in anything.
Though you can use a level 30 Lugia against Machamp as a final backup, or if there is more than 1 player.
I just caught a Lugia today with 14 attack stat and DT/FS. I'm still wondering if I should use the fast TM.

I would just to lock down that double psychic move. But depends on your TM inventory.

Wow that's a nice Lugia! You obviously raid a lot and I'm sure those rare candies are weighing down your bag and the legendaries are the best use for them. You know you want to do it anyways for fun ;). Unless stardust is a problem you're gonna have a nice pokemon that you'll be proud of even if you can't show it off in gyms.
