Mawile really durable in Palkia raid

I went in a weather boosted Draco Meteor Palkia raid with a full lobby of 20, Mawile /w Play Rough (lvl 25) was autoselected and I did not have time to change it. I managed to dodge every Draco Meteor (quite easy) and Mawile was still alive at the end of the battle! Steel + Fairy typing is apparently super-duper mega-resistant to dragon moves.

Fun fact: Mawile will quite easily best pure Dragon moveset Giratina in PvP. ;)

Only steel and fairy resist dragon; steel x1, and fairy x2 (immunity) so its got a 3x resistance, the only currently released pokemon in go with that. It's defense isnt terrible so it can tank those hits well

Meanwhile, Rayquaza lasts until the first draco meteor at best, but if it gets off an Outrage or two, it probably has the same or better total damage than Mawile.

For the sake of your raid group, please don't use Mawile.

Just like the old days with Murkrows defeating Lugia. ;)

DPS/TDO says Mawile has 1.5 times Rayquaza's TDO. But Rayquaza deals damage about 2.5 times faster than Mawile. For reference, Mawile's DPS is roughly on the same level as DT/T Aggron.
