Making a second account.
I'm so sick and tired of seeing people with two accounts only one user. It's very frustrating because you can report them multiple times and nothing is done. Why would you even want to accounts? Isn't it so much more time-consuming. I understand if you play this game alone most of the time. I do as well But I don't sink low and make two accounts to make up for it. So from now on whenever I see this cheater I will rip their Pokémon down and put my girl up

Someone who would like to spoof may want to create a new account because they don't want to risk their main account being banned.
If there are very few people from the same team as you in your area it will be impossible to hold gyms so they create a new account to be able to hold gyms.
If you find a lvl 10 gym with your team you can change account and take it down a lvl and then put in your pokemon.
A few reasons why someone might want two accounts
I think swiping is more of an ultimate low - I prestiged against a 3-in-a-row Blissey level 9 gym to get from 44K to 50K prestige, took over a half-hour and many potion/revives of my workhorse Exeggs - had my defender already named and ready to go - try to pop him in and WHAM! error and the gym is at 52K. Thanks a**hole. Maybe a spoofer since I didn't see anyone else around, but with woods, building and parking lot maybe someone was just out of sight.
Second account shaving is the story of my life. My gym high point was 6 definite and I could walk my way to 2 more before work. This was back in November. Those gyms, I was systematically shaved off and replaced by spoofers with at least to accounts. How do I know. I am instinct, and there are mystic gyms with trainers same level as the instinct ones with names exactly the same except for an extra number. I mean, come on. Don't be a dick people.
Im usually bringing my sons mobile and account if I go out and he cant come with me to catch mons and spin stops. Considering how unfair the game is with unbalanced teams I dont really worry about breaking Niantics ToS. Were on same team, so when we go together we fight gyms, but two Instinct players can never hold a gym in Valor land. Current gym meta is like playing soccer with 6 player vs 11 players on the field. By the way I also clained he is 20 years but actually he is 6. Another ToS breach.
