I don’t have a Groudon powered up, though I’m probably gonna power up one soon.
For Machamp I’m more worried about surviving against DP, and for Gengar, surviving against SlB, in cloudy weather. (I usually solo them in cloudy weather to get boosted catches)
Yes, I’ve had my whole team wiped out against SP/SlB before with that team. Should I power up a Groudon to replace the Espeon for Gengar?

Dynamic Punch, yes, pretty much, being wiped out is a concern without legendaries, at least for me it is a pain. Maybe replace number 3 with Gengar if you don't want to spend Stradust on the Lugia. Don't try DP on Cloudy weather, it is very hard and I couldn't succeed (I also don't have a high level Lugia) with a team of Espeon, Alakazam, Exeggutor, Gengar, Gardevoir and Dragonite around level 30.
Sludge Bomb, Groudon, Rhydon, Golem and/or Metagross should help.
