Since we are going to get moveset rerolls, I got myself a problem. In 1 year I have had candys only for 2 full evolves and decided to roll lvl over iv. Both with bad moves. lvl 30 56% iv and 26lvl 78% iv. Now I have 130 candys either to power up and reroll moves or evolve 3rd 91% 20lvl and have 0 candys left.
I'm 38lvl and I got +35lvl dragonites and tyranitar so blisseys aren't problem. Just worried about blissey as a raid boss.
If anny of those lower iv Machamp have 15 ATK iv, they might still be worth the investment to power up.
It also depends how fast you can accumulate candy though. If you find Machop frequently, I would just go for the high iv one since it will perform a little better. (and your others don't have a good moveset yet, so you might get something usefull here aswell, without having to wait for raids to release, since that will prob take awhile)
I'm in a similar machamp dilemma. I've evolved 3 machamps, all with bullet punch.
My suggestion is to wait. Wait until you have enough candies to fully evolve AND level up to 30. This is for a few reasons
-If you roll the good moveset, it will kind of suck seeing your "ideal" mon sitting at a low cp. It feels so GOOD leveling it up right away
-You may find a high level or IV machop before you reach 190 candies. I evolved a 91% charmander a few weeks ago, only to hatch a 98% the next day...
-We will know more about TMs by then as well. Their drop rates, probabilities, etc.
I think the magic number is 188 candies, but I usually try to make 200 my goal. I like nice, round numbers.
That's my advice. However... I'm also a super big hypocrite because I get super impatient about stuff like that. I hardly take my own advice, even though I should...
