Machamp's Charge Moves - Should I TM?
I see that Machamp's charge attack Dynamic Punch is considered superior to Close Combat, despite CC having a higher true DPS.
(I don't totally get why, so if someone could give a simple explanation why, that would be great). What I would like to know is how the legacy charge move Cross Chop compares.
Cross Chop is a 2-bar charge move like Dynamic Punch, but has a slightly better true DPS. Is Cross Chop a superior charge move?
The reason for the question is this…
I have two >90%iv Machamps. One with Cross Chop, the other with Close Combat. Both are afflicted with Bullet Punch.
I have a single Fast TM. I'm sure that I'll eventually switch both but for now, who do I use it on?
Would the 'impossible without TM' legacy combo of Counter/Cross Chop be sufficiently formidable to warrant using a Fast TM, or should I find a more deserving candidate?

The DPS of Cross Chop is only high because of its short duration. The total damage done by Dynamic Punch is nearly twice as high. Roughly: When your energy bar is fully loaded, you start using your charge moves. By the time the first Dynamic Punch is finished, you have already done both Cross Chops. At this time the damage done is nearly the same in both cases. But now you need to recharge Cross Chop, while you still would have a second Dynamic Punch for immediate delivery.
