Machamp (CC) v. Hariyama

I'm sure most of us have read the article comparing Counter/Dynamic Punch versions of Machamp and Hariyama. What about comparing Counter/Close Combat Machado with Counter/Dynamic Punch Hariyama? I didn't bother to TM optimize my machamps, double fighting was good enough. I just caught some level 32 , good IV Makuhita and am looking to compare performance. Would just using pokebattler to simulate TTar raids be good? The person who wrote the article maybe be able to make a couple quick changes in EXCEL to get an answer. Thank you for your help!

According to PokeBattler, a maxed perfect Hariyama with C/DP always wins over a maxed perfect Machamp with C/CC. It always has higher Time-to-Win, and, as the article proved, pushes even farther ahead of Machamp when the Raid Boss is packing a more damaging moveset. It also has much more survivability. DPS-wise, this means that Machamp only pushes ahead of Hariyama when it has C/DP.

Any Mon with DP is better than any Mon without DP. (Edit: Maybe not Medicham ;-)
CC puts Machamp on par with a slew of other fighters. He is still useful; but not the undisputed champ.

C/DP Machamp is arguably marginally better than C/DP Hari, but both are head and shoulders above C/CC ‘Champ. RS/DP Poliwrath is about equivalent to C/CC Machamp.

It’s not that CC is worthless, it’s just that DP is really, really good.
