Lugia supreme counter to machamp?

Lucky enough to catch a 98 IV with Es/fs. Is s/he as good as alakazam vs. machamp?

For gyms? Very very good.

For raids it will work in a similar fashion to DT/H Dragons to anchor your crew but won't be fast enough without the normal Zams and other higher DPS mons for soloing.

For multi team mate battles with Machamp, he's great

Thanks JHVS. just noticed gamepress updates counters has lugia at the top of supreme counters but I will take more stock in your deep experience with machamp over these rankings...

Too bad mine is only 71% then, don´t want to put dust into it. Luckily I found an Abra with 947 CP and high attack today, might get at lvl 30 Zam with minimal dust spending instead...

Btw: A lvl 30 Espeon will faint a lvl 30 Machamp in approx half the time of a Lugia lvl 30. Since timing out seldom is an issue in Machamp raids Lugia could be a nr 6 raider.
