I see a lot of them in Lugia raids and rayquaza raids before that and kyogre raids before that. They clearly have use...as an auto select tanky raid option despite not being the RIGHT choice for any of these.

Psychic types has limited use even Mewtwo suffers the same problem.
If Lugia ever get flying type quick attack he might be one of the best flying type. He has bulk over Rayquaza.

He would do well in other future Fighting type raids, especially Breloom or the Hitmons. Machamp won't be the only one forever.
