Lugia fast move to go with Sky Attack

So Gamepress identifies Lugia's two A-rated move sets as Extrasensory / Sky Attack and Extrasensory / Future Sight. But it seems to me that I'm either going to want a full-psychic moveset for psychic-vulnerable Mon or a non-psychic moveset if I'm taking advantage of typing. So if you've got a Lugia with Sky Attack, which fast move would you prefer?

I ask because my best-IV Lugia is Extrasensory / Sky Attack. I'm contemplating fast-TMing it to use as a Mewtwo anchor. Would this be wise or is there something I'm missing?

(I guess once I have a Mewtwo, the psychic moves will be even less useful…)

As you have it, as anchor for machamp is what you want so i would keep it that way until mewtwo appears then fast TM it.

Extrasensory/Future Sight will only be more effective at exploiting poison types since Extrasensory/Sky Attack still fully exploits fighting type's weaknesses. However, the flying move will be resisted by flying types (all current legendaries, dragonite, gyarados) while also giving you a super effective move against grass and bug, both of which do not resist psychic, making Lugia good for those types as well. All things to keep in mind overall.

In terms of the meta and your question about Dragon Tail, the psychic quick move is only slightly better because of its edge against fighting and poison types, but it yields to dark types and other psychics. If you solo raids a lot, extrasensory will be better for dealing with Muk and Weezing. If you're raiding Machamps go for Extrasensory. Dragon Tail could deal decent damage across a wide variety of types in general and make Lugia tank well against psychics, with the side perk of trashing Dragonites in gyms and being slightly less inferior to dark types. I honestly think the choice is completely arbitrary at this point. All of Lugia's moves are a good choice in my view, aside from Hydro Pump, and I like the potential uses of a Dragon Tail/Sky Attack Lugia, especially when Alakazam and Espeon are both pretty decent to fill the double-psychic moves role. This is all a matter of play style with none objectively better than the other. Even Dragon Tail/Extrasensory isn't a bad choice if you're just looking for general non-type specific DPS and one of the best Dragonite counters (the other being Gyarados). If Dragonite comes in the new raid cycle this could be an interesting way to play Lugia.
