Lugia Counters?

Yesterday Charge Beam / Shadow Ball Gardevoir was listed as a Lugia counter. Gardevoir resists psychic and double resists dragon, plus both attacks are super effective. I have a level 30 Confusion / SB Gardevoir so I used a fast TM to get the ideal moveset.

Today Gardevoir has been removed from the counter list. I suppose her attack is not high enough, but I would think she is better on the list compared to Absol. Is anybody going to power up a level 20 Absol just as a counter to Lugia?

You would not be using a charge beam Gardevoir in most cases, plus it doesn't tank Lugia's moves unlike against Rayquaza.

By the way i've also noticed Shiftry, Banette and Gengar are not there too.

And yes i have a level 30 Absol waiting to be launched against HP variants.

its not like absol is going to tank a HP, against DT he will likely faint even before the HP.
