Lucky trading active

Traded a level 22 Tyranitar 96% for a 1416 Jynx...Tyranitar went to 14a/12/14 plus lucky. Jynx went to 1419 plus lucky. Fairly old ones. Traded an old Muk for an old Gengar, both went lucky. Old Vape for an old Aerodactyl both lucky. Old 78% Dragonite for ok Dragonite from Dratini day, nothing and cp went down. My first Mewtwo last Sept at level 30 for a Moltres 2150 from last summer, ivs went down and neither lucky.

Pretty good lucky ratio so far, but need to enter in adjusted info to check ivs on poke genie

Interesting. Does going lucky affect their potential IV rerolls or is that unchanged? How old is "fairly old"?

The Jynx was born 1/5/17. Tyranitar was a raid Tyranitar born 12/12/17.

I've seen if one is lucky they both go lucky, but trading as far back as I can go on each. My 40 goes further back.

All of this is irrelevant really. Please tell us the IVs it went from and went to allowing people to judge how good this feature is =)

I don't care about the IV i've always wanted a level 40 chancey to troll gyms with and now with lower Stardust cost I might just get that!

I did 6 trades, 3 turned lucky and 3 weren't. Worst miss was a Charizard 2104 from 1/5/2017 went from 2104 to 1974, other end was a 93% Machamp at level 23 or so...that went to 50%. The ones that turned lucky keep above 75% far as I can tell

This one started 76% but 15a, ended up like this

A big miss, traded my first Blissey 2666 for a 2465 level 30 Confusion Exegg...neither lucky. Both born Jan 2017. Blissey stayed at 2622. That C Egg is now on my 40 but lost 130cp, not gonna last there, have 2 C Eggs on there in the 90s and 2550+.

But why? IVs are kind of a footnote about the lucky feature.

I’ve traded about 10 old Pokémon’s.. some over a year or more older, and no lucky. I have some really old ones but they are maxed out so no reason to trade. Not much lucky here.

Was it a server side update, or do I have to download it?

Server update at 3pm Central time. Restart your app at least though.

Trade some old stuff, but start out with a level 20 Aero, Jynx, or an extremely outclassed 2500 Vaporeon. I was trying old for old especially since I've already shed/traded most of my Tentacruel/Golduck crap before this lucky feature

Every trade my group has done that was a 2016 for a 2016 went lucky. That's over a dozen in a row now. In addition, every lucky trade has egg-hatch IVs (10/10/10). So, I would agree with you.

This was spring of 2017, lucky 15a/12/10. I'm doing things from same time period---total 4/8 lucky.

Only have one lucky from today trading, absol strong in appraisal and wild lv 34 geodude with decent (valor)
Geodude become 82 atk 15, absol become a hundo

Well, that is pretty good then. Some of the ones I really wanted fell flat—my special trade (ultra friend) was bad, pretty unlucky 3314 Mewtwo to 3260, traded for a bad Moltres. First Dragonite 78% 34.5 3213...went unlucky to 3070, forgot what I traded it for but that turned into trash.

I think the advantage to luckies might be trading things level 23 to 32 that have some age to it and that could fight pretty good with the 50% stardust/candy cost to max
