I guess I'll catch more Chinchou and Lanturn for prestige then ;)
But since water type Pokemon are very common here anyway I do not really care except for Lapras. But maybe those who do not have six Jolteons already should evolve some.

I've only powered up one, and not even past level 30, Vaporeon reign has ended if this event lasts more than 24 hours.

Well, Gyarados "reign" has started long time ago :D the top 5 spots are like always 50% Gyarados and 50% Dragonite here.
So I'm excited for some Laprases to smash the nites.. or maybe a Bulbasaur or Chikorita nest.

Gyarados is a joke as a defender, but no one will be sticking a Vaporeon over their new found, level upped Gyarados with higher CP. Vaporeon is still a better defensive mon, but maybe proven obsolete after this given gym mechanics. RIP

A leveled up 30ish Jolteon can drop 3 with decent to mediocre dodging.

As shiny Gyarados is released now I bet there will be red Gyarados in every gym here soon :D I guess I'll waste some dust on my low IV Jolteons then..
