Level 35 Larvitar caught in the wild!!

How can you have so many candies but no good ttar yet? and what's bad about an 89% 14att ttar?

having high lvl/cp ttars helps, and with so many candies it doesn't hurt so much to evolve and see what you get, but the investment of tm's if u get the wrong moveset is then something to consider as well.

To me personally, it would prolly be replaced eventually for a better IV ttar of the same lvl, but given the rarity of larvitars (even during event I only see them every so often), that would maybe still be a while.

So ehm, if you have the TM's to use in case of a bad moveset, i'd say go for it!

Yea it’s crazy... I caught a 810 91% boosted larvitar! It was my best tyranitar yet! I’m loving this event!

But I would definitely evolve it. I have a ton of level 20 ttars from raids, and they all suck! Lol

I would say yes...IF they weren't a raid boss still.

I would consider evolving high lv low IV ones depending on circumstances (such as not having reliable raid groups) but that is a pretty low IV and you having that many candies either means you've walked one a lot or you run into a good amount of TTar raids or wild Larvitars. They are weather-boosted very often with two of the most common conditions boosting them.

You should wait until the event is over; but I say evolve it. It takes 100candies and 100k dust to get a L25 Ttar to L35; and being in the right place at the right time to raid it. Getting there from a hatch takes 255 candy and 137k dust. Plus, if you don't have a Ttar yet, you are a long way from having 6 Ttars.
So spend 125 candies, save your dust, and use that Ttar now.

Don't evolve it, it doesn't worth it.

Don't listen to those IV maniacs, evolve it and you have a battle ready Tyranitar, TM if needed and that's it. You can still transfer it, if you manage to collect 6 high IV high level Tyranitar one day - until then, this one will serve you well enough. IV's aren't everything.

Evolve it, 125 candies is nothing
