Legendary eggs

Not a question just an observation.
I went to a coffee shop with my friends and closed my phone. After coffee opened my phone and got a "network error" was about to restart the app when I saw a legendary egg on a gym down the road. Don't have a picture cause the app crashed right after but as I restarted the app I saw a lugia on the gym. I think this was lag but this probably confirms that we have raid eggs but they are currently closed cause of crashes and lag.
