legacy gengar

i love gengar so much, hes my fav pokemon and i hope trade will come. im gladly want to trade my 100iv snorlax with a 100iv gengar woth shadow claw and sludgewave such a shame i cant evolve one anymore ? i dont use my lax that much like every body does. i just put him at gym.

I think sludge ball is better then sludge wave.

Unless you just want a Legacy Gengar for collecting, Sludge Bomb's usually better.

Because Gengar is pretty much required to dodge every attack, Sludge Bomb's faster cooldown before your next action means there's more moves where you are able to use your charge move and still be able to dodge the next attack compared to Sludge Wave, and also Sludge Bomb does more DPS per cycle if you're just spamming attacks without dodging.

It will be a waste to trade 100% snorlax with this good moveset for a 100% Gengar.

Not a big fan of Snorlax, huh? Willing to trade a 100% IV and sitting on 103 candy... :)

I have a 91iv legacy gengar. Actually wished I waited for the patch before evolving bcz sludge bomb is way better.

gengar is my fav from gen1 as well

I've got a 93% Gengar with Shadow Claw / Sludge Bomb. I'll gladly trade for your Snorlax when that becomes a thing.
