Is Latios worth dumping dollar in for 100IV for future mega?

So all the lengendary in gen 3 except the Regis has the mega form ,

while most of the lengendary in gen 4, 5 and 7 don’t have mega. (especially those strong dragon from gen 4 and 5 )
Is it worth chasing the latios like we did for Kyogre and rayquaza?

Latios mega should be super tanky dragon with high attack while rayquaza mega still kinda a glass cannon

I don't know what all this mega crap is about, but I'm not gonna chase it actively. I won't be playing anymore by the time they introduce this concept.

Mega mean upgrade mega Latios has 310 attack 250 def
Mega rayquaza has 384 attack (unerf)

I think you may want to consider the two following possibilities first:
1. Niantic may/may not implement mega forms, and if they do, there's no telling how it will be done.
2. Mega evos don't happen til Gen 6, so you'd be investing in something we probably won't see for ~2 years.

Given that those two possibilities involve both chance and time, if you're considering chasing after a 100 Latios, you may also want to consider whether or not you'd find a use for one in the more immediate future.

I am sure I will just gonna let my 100 iv Latios in my bag doing nothing until mega is a things if I ever chase and catch it ,

From your two point of consideration I guess your recommendation of chasing Latios for my future action to the 100 IV Latios, is:No??

Megas are so far into the future and may not even come to the game at all that you should not put heavy resources into preparing for them. Latios is going to be a great gym sweeper if you lack a DB/DC Dragonite, but I would not go nuts raiding it unless you have a great deal of disposable time and income.
