Latios a must to chase??

So it is truly a little better Dragonite, but it does not have flying type which would be better??

Idk if I should chase for it when it is out or just let it be a Pokedex filler

since there is water dragon and steel dragon from gen 4 which is around the corner some how
and it is a huge better than dragon physics

Stat-wise, sure. Move-pool makes it worse though.

Gen 4 around the corner? We are only 3 months into generation 3...
It took 7 months and 9 months for generations 1 and 2 :)

What is this dragon physics of which you speak? Is it much different to human physics?

I've seen that before. I'm guessing either some other languages spell "psychic" as "physic" or it is some kind of autocorrect mistake. Trying to google to find the answer just brings up pseudoscience crap about the bad physics that shows psychic abilities could maybe possibly be real under certain unblinded and uncontrolled testing conditions.

Latios' best move set does less dps than Dragonite's best move set. Sure, if you compare DB/DC for both, Latios does more dps but I wouldn't say it's worth investing in if you already have a high lvl DB/DC Dragonite.

Probably not. The only thing people are excited about latios is the DB/DC moveset that is currently legacy for dragonite. Latios is meant to be a good gym swiper, whereas Ray and Dragonite are more powerful dragons in raids. Not really worth to invest a lot in it.

Gen 4 is probably more than 6 month away. Don't get too excited about what is to come, you might have quitted the game by the time Gen 4 arrives...

DB/DC is much more useable for gym swype than mewtwo's movesets.

Dragon Breath/Dragon Claw will be good for clearing low motivation gyms. The quick Dragon Claw is much better against weakened opponents than the slow lumbering Outrage, and psychic typing adds some resistances to some common defensive moves. Against weakened gym defenders though, IVs are not going to matter as much so just need to raid for good-enough IVs.

Dazzling Gleam is a Fairy type move, Fairy is super effective against Fighting, Dark and Dragon. Latios and Latias are not double weak to DG Blissey.

Latios may be a popular option for those who never got themselves a good DB/DC Dragonite but always wanted one. The moves are both exceptionally fast, which makes for a smooth experience where dodging is easy.

Latios won't have the DPS output of its dragon brethren Dragonite or Rayquaza, but could very well outperform them if/when PvP becomes a thing and speed/dodging become essential.
