Larvitar
How many people would evolve an 88% IV Larvitar?
Yet again bare in mind I have never raided one as my area is awful.

For 12 attack nah, not worth the candy in my case. Especially if the moveset isn't the best (as is my case with Iron Tail + Stone Edge) and seems it's 87%, close to yours and 14 attack 14 HP but 11 defense. I'd wait out on one with 15 attack and double dark. But if you really need one right now, pick the one with a double dark moveset from the ones you have.
I believe in playing according to your resources. One guy here posted months ago that he still had no Dragonite despite having over 500 Dratini candies because he was waiting for a 96% IV or higher. That's crazy to me.
I usually only catch 1-2 Larvitar per month, except for two lucky days when I caught 3 each, so I can't be extremely picky, especially since I've never been able to do a Tyranitar raid. My 5 Tyranitars are "only" 89-96 % and none of them has 15 attack, but I don't regret evolving and powering them up because they made it possible for me to solo Alakazam and I'm only one more short of my goal of 6 to handle all the future Psychic raid bosses.
On the other hand, Rhyhorn is extremely common here, so I transferred all the ones below 93% and by the time Rhyperior is released, I expect to have only 96% and up, maybe even 98% and up.
So, do the best you can and don't compare what you have with what you see others have. Most people here consider anything less than 100% to be trash because they hunt for perfects every day using the local scanner bot map, but that's not how I want to play this game.
Seeing as I have bad luck when it comes to my Larvitar and even when they have good IV's, they never have 15 attack, I would perhaps be tempted to evolve a 88% one IF it had 15 attack. But I probably wouldn't. Even though I have over 500 candies, I still would wait for a 15 attack one at over 90% IV.
But seeing as you don't seem to get to do Tyranitar raids and if Larvitar is rare for you, then I guess 88% isn't bad, but I hope it has good attack IV. Atleast 14, but preferably 15.
It's not fun to wait, but it's usually worth it.
If I didn't already have a Ttar, I would. When my only Ttar was It/Fb, I held off for a long time before evolving another. I just got my second Ttar (B/C) to level 31 a couple weeks ago, as Larvatar is super rare for me.
Unless he's your first Ttar, wait until you either have a better Larvatar or about 300 candy.
