I have 2 larvitars with good ivs.
1) 84iv lvl 20 (hatched) to lvl 30: 191candys 75k dust
2) 91iv lvl 12 to lvl 30: 223 candys 105k dust
I have 240 candys or so. Shoul I evolve one or wait for a better one?

I have a 98iv dratini too but it is lvl 8. Its about 233 candys and 113k dust. I have 4 dragonites with 3000+ cp but my highest is 89iv. I have 240 candys. Should I go for it?

I have 280k dust and I am lvl 33.

Do you plan on powering up a defensive Tyranitar? If so then the 98% one may be an option for you. If not then no way.

Yes. But the 98iv is a dratini, not a larvitar

My bad I misread that. Same logic applies though.

I would evolve the 91% Larvitar and see if I get a good moveset. If I do, then I would power it up. If I don't then I still have 115 larvitar candy left and can start work on a new one.

With 240 Dratini candy ready I would probably go for the 98% and again only power it up if the moveset is good.

But it always depends on what you need and how much dust you are willing to part with.

I would evolve the level 20 and save the candies.
Hang on to the other larvatar. 91iv is good but not great, you may get a better one as you farm more candy.
Since you already have 4 dragonites and plenty of candy, you should definitely take on the 98% Dragon project.
