Lapras Question

I have a 100% IV Lapras (lv.20 CP1487) with FB/HP and 85 Lapras candies. I don't have any double ice move or higher level ones, so is there any reason to not feed her all my candies? I was waiting for the gym rework and TMs before investing, but the changes seem to have only improved Lapras. She falls far below the 3000CP line people seem to be concerned about, so I don't see a downside to powering her up. Also stardust isn't a concern. Would like your thoughts - thanks.

That's an awesome pokemon. It really depends what you need but I think that's a great choice to power up. I would probably power him up all the way and get a charged TM to try and get blizzard or ice beam.

I'd power it up for sure. TMs are supposedly a thing as of now, you'll get a TM eventually and if not you still have STAB. HP is tough to dodge and unexpected from a Lapras (for me anyway).

Like you and others have said, TMs are present and mons with movesets that aren't as desirable are now valuable.

I would kill for a 100% lapras, definitely power it up. With TMs, you can obtain any moveset you want bar legacy moves (ice shard and dragon pulse). The only reasons I wouldn't would be if you really wanted ice shard which I hear is not significantly greater on defense compared to frost breath now.
