Lapras Question

Just wanted your take on this. I have two Lapras, once with IS/B, 95% IVs (15A,14D, 14S) and one with FB/B 82% IVs (15A, 9D, 13S).

I know FB is better but is it worth the 5 defense points lost?

Also do we know of better ice types in gen 3? Looking up I see Walrein will have max CP of 2600. In Gen 4 there's Mamoswine that will hit 3200 max CP but that might not be for over a year.

I'd say go for the Ice Shard / Blizzard. It's still quite good, the better stats will let you power up the Lapras more, and you could probably use it on defense if you really felt like it for some reason. I don't think any better Ice types will be in gen 3; I'd just invest in Lapras and then maybe also hope it'd get buffed.

I would go for FB/BL because with an attacker his ivs are nor that important. Especially def. Also IS is very meh on offence but BL is very meh on defence. But by all means keep both.
