If you're short on dust, take it up to about 1600 for offensive purposes. There are better places to use the dust for defense. If you ever find yourself with more dust than worthy Big7 candidates, this guy isn't a bad #8 (if you have the candy).

Current CP is excellent for prestiging But max cp is too low to be a defender & doesn't kill fast enough to be a main attacker. I will not power it up.

Absolutely. You'll always get more stardust, and he'll make a great Dragonite attacker.

I dont have plans to power up and of the Lapras I catch don't have ice moves especially the Blizzard I caughr pre nerf. They are no good for defending gyms now but are great for prestige attacking. I like havimg the now powered up versions. I am no longer getting rid of any relevant mons. Mayne someone will want a Dratini for trade when trading goes online.
