We tried a lapras raid today
we had one try and this is it...
Do you think it's possible to take him down ?
I have four machamps at max, but 2 100% i can put to level 40, but i don't know if i want to risk a ban,
My machamps are - 3x 100% (1 at lvl 39, 2 at lvl 38,5 - because of power up on lvl 40, but i think that i will powerup them at lvl 39) 1x 96 15/14/14 (lvl 39), 1x 93 13/14/15 (lvl 39) and 1x 91 15/15/11 (lvl 39 - legacy karate chop) , all of them have of course counter - dynamic punch except the last one 91, he has karate chop - dynamic punch, my friend has 1x 100, 3x 98, 1x 96 and 1x 93 all lvl 39 counter - dynamic punch, so what do you think ?

unfortunately, no you can't. A squad of 5 level 40 100% IV Machamp defeats a raidboss Lapras in 406,5 seconds. divide that by two (because you were with 2) and you still end up with 203,25 seconds. in other words you need about 23,35 seconds more (e.a. no lag and you start the battle at exactly 179,9 seconds).
edit: simulation was done on the easiest defending moveset; Water gun, hydropump ( I choose hydrompump because the duration of this move is 0,2 seconds slower than blizzard, so it is easier to dodge)
This is all very hypothetical and would never occur in real life ofcourse. Safe yourself a lot of stardust and time and invite littly Timmy to join you so you can defeat the lapras.
Actually I see 368 sec in pokebattler so really close. The thing is pokebattler simulate a solo raid, in duo raid the boss receive twice the damage and can fire charge moves more frequently. This make surviving the battle a challenge, but also speed up the battle since the boss now do more damage so the players can fire more charge moves. My guess is it is still not possible but can be really close.
simulation results of a lvl 39 100% Machamp on pokebattler without dodging (12 deaths) you can win against FrostBreath/Hydropump in 368 seconds.
So no it is not possible, 4 seconds are missing in the hypotetically best scenario (no lags, instant start, most convenient Lapras moveset) and 12 deaths is one too much, so you would have to dodge at least a bit resulting in even more time loss
