Lanturn vs Lapras?

I have 1 lvl30 Lanturn with this moveset that I use against Gyarados (he's weaker than Jolteon in attack but more tanky). I guess he could do the job against Lapras too.

Doable, yes, "good," no. He simply doesn't have the damage output. I would rather take my chances dodging with Jolteon or Megneton.

I haven't tried Lanturn yet, but Machamp with Counter/Dynamic Punch shreds Lapras like I have never seen another mon do before.

I've seen Lanturn in battle, and CB is just too slow. I like him, get his purpose, but Lapras is too good of a mon to be trying to play around w like that. Not saying you couldn't, but I wouldn't.
